  • In some cases, data is shared between iFLY's subsidiaries in the United Kingdom, France, and the United States. Your data may be transferred for the following purposes:

  • Handling incident reports regarding any accident or injury that occurred on iFLY's premises, or following the use of iFLY equipment;

What are the points covered by this policy?
 
This policy describes the intended use of iFLY Paris, SAS and other iFLY Group companies, including SkyGroup Investments LLC, iFLY Holdings LLC, Sky Venture International (UK) Ltd., and their subsidiaries and affiliates (hereinafter “iFLY” or “we”), of your data when you use the "Website", namely https://www.iflyworld.com, , https://www.iflyworld.co.uk, and any other website and service we provide.  For example, you can perform the following actions on our site: create an account, make online purchases, fill out a release form, use the site, contact us.
 
This policy also describes your data protection rights, including the right to refuse part of the data processing performed by iFLY. For more information about your rights and how to exercise them, see "What are my rights?”
 
What information do we collect?
 
We collect and process your personal information when you interact with us and our sites, as well as when you purchase our goods and services. This includes:
  • your name, your user name, and your password,
  • your gender,
  • your age/date of birth,
  • your mailing address, your e-mail address, and your telephone number;
  • your payment and delivery information, including billing and shipping addresses and credit card information, when you make purchases from us;
  • your marketing preferences, including any consent you have given us.

How do we use this information, and what is the legal basis for its use?
 
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
 
  • Executing a contract or taking action associated with a contract: this applies when you make a purchase from us. This includes:
  • verification of your identity;
  • receipt of payments;
  • communication with you;
  • the provision of customer services, organizing deliveries, or providing any other products or services;
  • security;
  • In order to meet iFLY's requirements and to carry out our business activities and pursue our legitimate interests:
  • we will use your information to offer you the products and services you have requested, and to respond to any comments and complaints you send us;
  • we use your information to adapt our sites, products, and services to your profile;
  • if you use a debit or credit card as a method of payment, we may request for a third party to verify the validity of the counter code, account number, and card number in order to avoid any fraud (see the section on data sharing below).
  • we track customer accounts to prevent, declare, and/or investigate any suspicion of fraud, terrorism, false declarations, security incidents, or crime in accordance with the applicable laws;
  • we use your information to investigate any complaints we receive pertaining to our site, products, or services;
  • we will use data associated with legal claims and for purposes of compliance, regulations, and investigation, as appropriate (including the disclosure of such information as part of a legal proceeding or litigation).
  • When you grant us your consent:
  • you will be targeted by our direct marketing regarding our products and services, or with to the products and services of our affiliates;
  • we will take pictures and videos of you during your flight for you to purchase later.
  • For any legal purpose:
  • if parental consent is required for the provision of online services to minors under 16 years of age.
  • In response to requests from government authorities or law enforcement in the context of an investigation.

Revocation of consent or opposition to direct marketing
 
When your consent is necessary you may still revoke it, though we have other legal grounds to process your data for other purposes, as stated above. In some cases, you may be targeted by our direct marketing without your consent, for the purposes of our legitimate interests.  You may unsubscribe at any time from our direct marketing or from our profiling for direct marketing purposes. You just have to follow the instructions mentioned in the e-mail you receive, if applicable, or by contacting us via the contact details provided below.
 
With whom, when, and where do we share this data?
 
We will share your personal information with iFLY companies, including SkyGroup Investments LLC d/b/a iFLY, SkyVenture International (UK) Ltd., as well as their subsidiaries and affiliates, for the following purposes:
 
  • Processing and analysis of customer segments and profiling for marketing services;
  • Handling incident reports regarding any accident or injury that occurred on iFLY's premises, or following the use of iFLY equipment;
  • Processing of employee data for human resources and administrative personnel in order to maintain the workforce.
Your personal data may be shared with government authorities and/or law enforcement officials for the purposes set out above, if required by law or where necessary for the purposes of protecting our legitimate interests in accordance with the applicable laws.
 
Your personal data will also be shared with third party service providers who will process it on behalf of iFLY for the purposes identified above.  These third parties include online website hosts and providers of marketing communications, maintenance, call centre operation, and identity verification services.
 
If our company is sold or integrated into another company, your data will be shared with our advisors, as well as the advisors of any potential purchasers, and it shall be passed on to the news owners of the company.
 
Your data may be transferred to the United States where iFLY's head office is located. Your data is properly protected by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. A copy of the corresponding mechanism may be issued for you to review by submitting a request to info.paris@iflyworld.com

What are my rights?
 
You have the right to request a copy of your personal data, to correct, delete, or limit the processing thereof (halting any active processing of your data), and to obtain the personal data that you have provided to us - under a contract or with your consent - in a structured and machine-readable format, as well as to request for us to share your data (data portability) with another data controller.
 
Additionally, you may object to the processing of your personal data in certain cases (especially if we do not need to process your data for the purpose of fulfilling a contractual or legal requirement, or if we use your data for the purpose of direct marketing).
 
These rights may be limited, for example, if the response to your request involves the disclosure of another person's personal data, or if you ask us to delete data that we are required to retain by law, or by virtue of undeniable legitimate interests.

How long do you keep my data?
 
If process your personal data in order to execute a contract, your data is kept for 6 years from your last interaction with us.
 
If we process your personal data for marketing purposes or with your consent, we shall do so until you express any opposition, and then subsequently for a short time (the time necessary to execute your requests). We also keep track of your opposition to direct marketing or the indefinite processing of your data so that we can meet your demands in the future.
