For everything to be perfect at the moment of the big jump, the team has to do an enormous amount of preparation work. This obviously includes training sessions. But it's hard to perfect your skills in the air when you know that a jump lasts around 45 seconds. So Karine and Greg decided to set down roots in France, at the famous iFly indoor free-fall centers. “The advantage of training here is huge for us. We try to integrate 50% of the time we spend in the simulator with the time we spend in the sky. You have to realize that an outdoor day involves 10 jumps, so 10 times 45 seconds of effective work is nothing! At iFly, the world champions can fly for an average of 1 hour a day.
